We got award seats on both CO and AF, and will decide which one to use in about a week. Bernie can now mark us down as definites and I will email him to get us a room at the Nikko.
We really are looking forward to this one.

Sharon (and others) we have some 30 decided and still some 15 maybes or "most likely" with just 4 weeks to go, which makes planning extremely difficult and costs for any chartered event almost unpredictable. So I might skip any of these and I'm currently trying to find out what else we could do (there's a "brewery walk" thru Altstadt coming to mind). Anyway there will be something very "Düsseldorf" and special as usual.

This, of course, makes it quite easy for anybody being interested to still jump on for at least two more weeks.

I'm multi-tasking by putting photos in photo albums whilst watching U.S. NBA & NHL play-offs, and came across the 2nd set of photos from last year's Dus Do.

As many of you know I'm an analog person living in a digital world (ie, using film rather than digital camera), so wasn't able to post photos last year.

However, thanks to KathyWdrf & Alysia's patient application of a 2x4 plank to my head, I now get CDs made in addition to prints, & am able to upload Do pics to a website for viewing (making me now a semi-analog person living in a digital world)!

So this year's do photos will be posted online - and I'll bring the prints from last year to this year's Do so that folk who went last year can see through them (Rudi in an earring & Gisela/wingless & others in bunny ears are quite interesting photos!).

DUS IV is less than a month a way officially! Do we have list of activities yet? Do we need to PayPal for any events? Looking forward to hanging with new and old friends. ^ ^

For those who haven't been before, hang tight. Bernie will put something together & is good about updating the thread on a regular basis as the Do gets closer.

Can't speak for any other years, but last year for any funds required, we just gave Bernie cash at the Do (he knows how to find you! :)). If something is different, he'll let us know. Cheers. See you all in a month.

Bernie ... today we finally got our tickets to AMS then to Alaska issued (40 hours flying each way via Asia!) so please count me in for all events. (4th Duss Dooo is a row .... yoo hooo. ^)

Joh needs to visit her Mom in Holland so regrettably she will not join us on the weekend

I had booked the Four Points ages back, just in case, so I will keep that reservation.

Agree with Sharon .. .bring lots of Euros folding money and all will be sweet. :D

Have been quite busy lately (and will be for the next weeks), but I'll make very good use of the quiet days the upcoming holiday weekend to get all (or most) of the events fixed.

There's no need to send any money in advance. Since it worked out fine at the DUS DO's in the past I'll again collect the money for all the events once you are in DUS. Don't worry ... I don't :) If you attend all of the events it will be quite in the same price range as it was last time: some 125 - 150 p.p. (Friday nt. - Sun morning).
