Web page has just been updated with all recent flight details.
I still owe you all a section on meeting plans for the NRT RCC. This week has become a "wish there were 26 hours per day" kind of week, so although I shall do this ASAP, next week will see it for sure, this week, maybe. Back to you soon..........

Unfortunately I really don't have many good
things to say about both dinner locations . They are both in good accessible locations , but food and price wise they are a let down (for locals, but visitors may beg to differ). IMHO they are tourist traps .. sorry !
The problem is that if you want to go where the locals go you really need to get out of the downtown area, and I'm not sure if that is feasible for many of you on tight schedules.
Areas I would recommend visiting for a look at where the locals go would be:
- Serangoon Garden Circle
- Sembawang
- Holland Village
All of these are residential area's w/o much of a night life, so you'll have to get back to the city for that.
Let me know if any of you have any questions.

Just returned from another trip to SIN. Now thinking hard about this January adventure, if I can get it past my CFO, I mean my wife.
We had nice Black Pepper Crabs at the Lucky View restaurant at the East Coast Seafood Centre (formerly UDMC). I've been there a couple of times now, their other dishes are good too, especially the baked prawns. My favorite for Chilli Crabs is Hua Yu Wee restaurant on Upper East Coast Rd.
The Straits Times said last week that Lau Pa Sat is now 1/3 vacant, and many of the existing hawkers are looking to move out as soon as their lease expires. Sunil's comment about Serangoon Gardens is timely, since the paper also said a bunch of new hawkers just went in there.
Ran into a couple of the NW folks at the Conrad, who were on that $305 run, but wasnt able to make their meet at the Long Bar, as we got caught in a tremendous rain storm and opted for something else.
Edited for spelling.

I got $50 at the Marriott thru Priceline for my husband for Dec 13. This last week, the best I could do was $55 at Novotel. Good luck, you guys...
