Dan,

Most excellent! Knew you could not stay away. Will look out for your details and I shall, for the moment update the page to show your attendance. Should get to that later this evening (EST).

You have been officially added to the webpage now. I will add flight details when you are ready. We are up to three lines of runners on the page now. This place (FT) is great!

I'll be headed to Raffles on Sunday afternoon for tea in the Billiard Room. Mmmmm - a perfect combination of East and West, with the traditional British foods and Asia dim sum.

Hi All - Although many of you may be "veteran" SIN runners, I'm not,,,,and just ran across an interesting website that has much information on what to do, how to get around, etc.
The premise of the site is on "low-cost" travel, but it offers some hints that could be of use to almost anyone.
It's located at: www.the-inncrowd.com

Hope you find it at least worth a 'checking-out'.
Best wishes, and see you in SIN!

Another good source for Singapore information is United Airline's 3 Perfect Days in Singapore.

Rob - Thanks for the links!! Now, the tough part will be simply DECIDING where to go!!
The EastCoast Park Seafood Centre certainly looked interesting, but I'm sure that others with "local" insight will come up with ideas that are at least that good!

Looking forward to a few chili crabs!
Best wishes.

I am really tempted on switching my flight to a week earlier to join you all, but at the expense of missing my Lake Tahoe getaway...arrhhggg..decisions....

There are way too many places to eat in SIN, and some of the best places are at local food centers. Dun miss out the sambal stingray...it is absolutely to die for...well literally.

btw, there are some good deals off priceline.com.sg. I have seen bids for around US$60 for Marriott, right smack in the middle of Orchard.

Now if only I can decide to go to AMS or MAD during the last week of Dec....arghhh...decisions..

Well, if you decide on AMS, I'll be there Sat 12/28 on one of NW WBC sale fares, staying at the Pulitzer.
