stranded here in SEA where I work(although my second home is here). Just don't know when I'll be able to go home to BUR and be with my better half.

Safe and sound here in Pittsburgh. My folks had a fright when they heard one of the planes crashed nearby, though.

Safe and very sad in Chicago. They just found 5 firefighters alive in the rubble. I am so thankful for that. Just came back from giving blood. My family and friends are OK in NY, have not heard from a friend near DC.

I am going to turn off CNN. First they tell me 5 firefigthers have been found. Now they tell that, yes. 5 people were found but they had just fallen down into a hole 10 minutes before they were "found."
