I am very safe here in Chicago. The Red Cross has me on alert for a disaster assignment in NYC or DC, but I haven't heard anything definite as of yet.

I'm grieving and praying while stranded in Atlanta. I was to have been on my way home to Austin, TX today. I might get out Thursday afternoon.

I was talking with a UA reservation agent on the 1K (Platinum level for those who may not know the UA system) line. In response to my condolences to the UA family, she mentioned that there was at least one 1K confirmed to be among those who were lost.

Safe on the ground. Sitting on board an AA flight at LAX ready for take off yesterday morning, the pilot conveyed the horrible news, everybody got up and left the plane in total disbelief.
A very sad day for America all of our friends in the free world.

safe and sleepless in Seattle. This is just unbelievable. Thoughts and prayers to all who have been affected by this tragedy.

I worked in 7 WTC until yesterday.
We were evacuated by 9:30 AM and I ended up walking uptown and over the 59th St bridge to home.
I lost some personal things in the building, but nothing which cant be replaced.
A coworker had a son who worked in 103 of the North Tower. We fear the worst.
