I echo the words of Cat333...and was reminded today of the words of the Japanese Emperor after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. " I fear we have woken a sleeping bear, with great resolve"...I pray that these words ring even more true today than they did 60 years ago.
God Bless America !!

Was in Boston yesterday morning. Left before the chaos hit. Am now home in the woods of Vermont, with no cable, things are peaceful here, world chaos is remote. Walking the dog in autumn sunshine. Supposed to leave for CDG on Sunday and I expect chaos to return.

Was actually at the WTC in the 93 bombing and all those feelings have returned. Never really talked about it too much with anybody.

Thanks a lot to this excellent caring community, of which I am a relatively new member, for your compassion and concern.

Was in boston yeaterday morning. Left right before the chaos started. Here safe in the woods of vermont. Walking the dog in the autumn sunshine. Chaos seems very far removed.

I was at the WTC during the 93 bombing and the chaos is still very much with me. haven't talked about it all that much.

Supposed to leave for CDG on Sunday and i'm sure the chaos will return.

Thanx to to you all for your caring and compassion.

I'm the primeary contact/coordinator for psychiatry for disasters here at Brooklyn's only public hospital, and as you can imagine, we're pretty swamped and i'm fairly exhausted...but thankfully, safe. My partner walked home 9+ miles yesterday from his office, and (miraculously) those we know at the WTC almost all escaped, though others we know of have not faired as well..

Hard to believe it's all real, though the tears and tragedies I'm facing daily surely are.

I have been safely at home in rural Virginia. Hoping I can make my planned trip to Germany a week from today. Feeling closer than ever to the folks in this community.

To all our friends below the border, our heartfelt condolences. This morning, the Canadian members of the FlyerTalk community delivered a bouquet of flowers to the staffs of the AA and UA ticket offices in Toronto to express our sorrow in their loss of friends and colleagues.
