Her many FT friends will be glad to know that RDURES1 is safe and well in Raleigh, N.C.

(Have been trying to post this for over a day now with no success - until, obviously, now.)

Back from Maui last Friday evening on UA. Sad flight, choked up FA's, crew happy to be back on the ground. Connection to SMF was cancelled so we rented a car and drove the 400 miles home. Kudos to Alamo for not ripping people off and for dropping one-way charge.

I've got to say that this is the coolest thread I've seen on FT in years.

It truly harkens back to the 'community' spirit that is the foundation of FlyerTalk.

Thanks for starting it, Premex!

Shared your grief while stranded in Denver 11-15 Sep. Eventually made it to LAX and managed to get seats on first UA International back home, in spite of it being overbooked in theory, but so few could get to LAX.
Sincerest condolences from N.Z.

Good to see that this is probably the longest thread ever.
Our thoughts are with you all.

Mr tinky cancelled his trip to the US mileage run for 1K- it doesnt seem that important now.

He's alive and well, Dan.

He notified us that he had to cancel his plans for being at the PIM, which was held in DFW last week.
