VERY ANGRY at home here in Irvine, Orange County, CA. Not flying for a month. My fiancee is flying NZ from SYD to LAX Oct. 8-10. We're flying CO Oct. 13-18 to visit friends in Chicago. And we're on the way to STT, Oct. 20-28, to get married on St. John on Oct. 20.
Unfortunately, the sorrow of so many is really gonna put a damper on our marriage. ------------------ In Economy...no one can hear you scream! |

Here, sad but safe. But when the skies open again, I will fly. We cannot let these madmen win through intimidation. My prayers for all of us who have been so terribly hurt.
|
safe, sad for all of us, sad that man can be so evil.

Here, alive and well at home.

Safe at home, thankfully.
I have a son who works in the north tower of the World Financial Center, which until Tuesday morning I didn't realize wasn't the same as the World Trade Center (though it's nearby). Had some anxious moments on his behalf. As it happens, he was in a meeting in midtown anyhow. My thoughts and prayers are with those who lost or are missing friends and loved ones. |
I'm safe at home.

Safe in FL. Hoping go home to AUS on Friday, but not couting on it.
Having lived in NY, I still have much family up there, and everyone is accounted for, thank God. SteveH |
Safe and sound and saddened in southwest AR, but planning to travel tomorrow if my flight isn't cancelled.

Sorry for the delay in posting, but as geo1004 noted, I am alright. The past 4 weeks I had been working in Secaucus, NJ overlooking the WTC. This week I am/was out in Parsippany.
Yesterday was an unplanned day-off helping my college coach work on his house "down the shore" I have received emails from pitflyer and terenz in the past 24 hours... |
Save in NYC, but we haven't been able to get into our loft, just 6 blocks from the WTC.

Safe but numb in GRR. Grateful for the comfort of the FT community.

I have been safely at home in rural Virginia. Hoping I can make my planned trip to Europe next week. Feeling closer than ever to the other members of this community.
