Hi Oz Fest, put me down as platinum. I was scheduled to leave SYD on the 25th, so will extend my stay. Maybe I will persuade kpc to give me a ride!!

Unfortunately due to my recent posting to The Red Arrows my duties for this year will exclude me from attending my second OzFest.

I hope I can attend OzFest 2018!

Thumbs up

Mark frantic and monitor as more than possible to be able to get there next May. The way things are going with us, that is too long from now for a commitment. However, a room has been booked at the CP.

Please put me down as Platinum. First trip to Newcastle and would be up for a pre/post Do in Sydney. I have been watching many great fares for CHC-OZ come and go but will now be able to strike the next time a good grabaseat fare comes along.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

We will miss yet another Oz Fest as by the time the weekend starts, we will have been in the USA for a week with another few to go. Early June is reunion time in the states. Though perhaps my last for a few years.

By the way I estimate the drive from Western Australia would be 4 to 5 days... each way.

Happy wandering

Fred

And the drive from North America would be even longer, even if they finally finish that bridge. With precious few places to stop on the way, and you'd better bring a lot of fuel.

But isn't that why the good Lord gave us airplanes? This is FlyerTalk, isn't it - not DriverTalk?
