I booked space for 8 people at the 10AM Suntory tour on Friday if anyone wants to tag along. We should easily all be able to get to baseball one of the days. 1,700 yen should be doable by anyone...

Interesting idea. Will be getting in too late for the Thurs afternoon tour. Sunday morning Suntory party crash a possibility, although don't want to look like a DYKWIA...

Possible to do Friday morning Suntory then catch up in Nara?

The distillery tour ends at 11:50. From Yamazaki (station) to Nara via Kyoto takes about 1hr 20mins. Whether you think it's worth catching up with the group possibly at Tōdaiji is up to you.

I made a booking for the Thu 2:50pm Suntory tour, but now understand I cannot easily make it.

Assuming it's transferable, I am happy to hand it to any Do attendee who can and will use the place.

I'm still firming up my flights - but I could potentially make this, if it is indeed transferrable.

If it is transferable and JY1024 does not take it, I could make use of it

How about I bring you a bottle of their Whiskey on Friday? I am pretty sure it will make the day trip to Nara more interesting.

What would be more interesting is to let the deer drink the whisky

Just finalized my tickets ... decided to be boring and take UA35 SFO-KIX nonstop.

If anyone needs to burn GPUs, UA35 on March 23rd is R9, as is UA34 on March 28th. (Or at least they were until I bought my ticket.)

I'm in for Suntory and Baseball.

Don't ask me why I know, but dogs seem to be the only animals who would drink alcohol when offered. Haven't tested on deers, however.

Maybe if I presoak my map with whiskey then perhaps they will not eat it? Or would the opposite happen?
