Remember to PM wharvey when you ship your gifts out (including contents and tracking numbers) and when you receive presents (including contents)!
This wikipost is not a completely authoritative resource of Secret Santa progress, but a resource to see what everyone has received
Don't forget to include pictures if you can!

Alternatively: To include pictures in your posts, upload your picture to somewhere on the internet (a list of sites can be found in the wiki here). Then, use the image tags to post the picture, making sure to use the URL of the picture itself instead of the webpage ([IMG]the URL of the picture[/IMG], making sure that the URL contains the .JPG/.PNG/.GIF/whatever).

In the first post of this thread are links to previous years' threads. Most people post on what they receive so the group can see and vicariously enjoy them, too.

Kinda like opening presents at Grandma's house with a hundred of your closest relatives.

I'll also add that there are those on here willing to help get more information from recipients, should they (as I did last year due to a lack of appropriate understanding) put insufficient detail in their sign-up for you to find gifts.

Join in, it's fun!

Don't be afraid to ask Santa wharvey or HeadElf53 for help. We're (I mean they ) happy to pepper your receipient with additional questions, without revealing your name. @:-)

Santa note: I have updated the second post with the list of all members who have submitted valid entries.... if your name is not there, please resent.

Also, if you say "maybe" in the willing to ship outside your own country, that will default to NO.

Just signed up for my 6th year and I can't wait to get started shopping!! It's great fun sleuthing for the perfect gifts for your giftee (victim). My family has watched me open beautifully wrapped exotic packages (with envy I might add) every year and this year my husband has decided to join up just so that he can play too. ha ha!

I know, isn't it great! Every year we open one gift on Christmas eve. My husband and daughter encourage me to open a SS gift and then watch in awe every year. He helps me shop every year and I'm really happy he decided to join in this year so he can share in the fun.

So where do we see the clue of our receiver?? What happen if we give out something that was retail at $50, but devaule. Can we show receipt that we paid $50? Or does it really matter, since it's a gift..........

Wharvey will forward the PMs for each of your recipients.

It is expected that the items you send be a minimum of $50. If it's devalued, then it doesn't really meet that, does it? I know there have been some recipients who have been very disappointed with their presents, because it was obvious their Santa spent far less than the minimum. IIRC, wharvey received a gift from a Santa that still had the clearance price tag on it, showing it was less than $10, and that was the entire present.

I'm thinking of participating this year and am looking through previous years gifts and have some a thought and a question.

1) Would be nice to have a thread for JUST gift photos. Seems there is a lot of complaining in between the gift posts

2) How many gift shipments are normally sent? IE is it just one shipment that adds up to $50? Or is it multiple shipments and each adds up to $50?
