No I dont. I try to buy things specific to the individual. One year I had to ask for more tips! Also the two times I have been assigned to people with pets I sent the pets a little something in addition to their gifts. There isn't any way for me to pre-shop without knowing my target.

Swedish Horse Mystery Solved!

Thanks John S-H for all of these awesome gifts!

Merry Christmas!

In the same box the horses came in, there were three post cards with pictures of: Ireland, Peru, and Stockholm. I assumed it was Peru, but never would have guessed they were from Sweden. Very Sneaky ^

so neither of my santas have reported sending or receiving the gifts I sent them... kind of disappointing, but what can you do?

I received one item in November (posted upthread) but haven't made it back for the second one which I expect will be waiting for us when we get home from Barbados. Just in case my second Santa is waiting for me to post!

You can check with Wharvey (via PM) if they have sent a PM to him when shipping or receiving. They may have checked in without reporting here.
I am in the same sort of situation, no report so far on the gift I sent. But I can see in the trace that it was delivered.

In case my sender reads these threads, my gift(s) sent via Amazon in two shipments, but the second one was delivered to our secure package area on Christmas Eve, and only now available as the bldg. manager has the only access; she's not around - you wait! I'm lousy with photos, so here are the contents:

Clear one-quart carryon container; Grid-It organizer; set of Go Tub containers (three small round containers); two twist-tie packages (2 large blue and 4 smaller assorted colors).

Thanks for thinking of me!

Thanks to aaucello and SECRET Santa!

Christmas finally arrived and my gifts are at last opened.

The first to arrive was a box from aaucello. This Santa shopped right off my Amazon list:

The mixing bowls were used right away, in cooking Christmas dinner. The muffin top pan will be used this weekend when I try out a new recipe for rolls. The case for stray electronic bits I'm saving for some upcoming travels. I look forward to not having to hunt through every pocket of my carry-on for this adaptor or that power cord. All these gifts are very useful and much appreciated!

My second Santa, who apparently wishes to remain anonymous but lives somewhere very close by based on the return address, was quite creative. This Santa took my personal statement to heart, and bought me tea, chocolate and tea goods, including a delightful mug.

The font is too small to photograph well, but under each cat image on the mug is a command, like "Sit" or "Fetch" and the cat is doing just the opposite!

Something particularly nice about this gift is that the tea is from a local shop which is new to me. Will definitely visit it on my next trip to that neighborhood!

And one more thing that I really like about this gift: The chocolate bar has golden berries in it. Most folks probably aren't familiar with them, but I grew them for years before moving to the PHL area, so I will definitely enjoy that chocolate.

p.s. Santa, if you want to meet for a cuppa sometime, just PM me.

I'm banking on my second Secret Santa being Orthodox. That gives them until the 6th.

LOL, this is true.

I heard from my 6th recipient, so I'm 6 for 6 as far as people receiving their gifts.

My recipient has received their gift, but I haven't received a gift yet nor heard from my Secret Santa. Snail mail living up to the name?....
