Remember to PM wharvey when you ship your gifts out (including contents and tracking numbers) and when you receive presents (including contents)!

I have asked people to post in the Santa thread when they receive a gift... it is a way of sharing what you got... and also a way to thank your "Secret" Santa who many not have identified him/herself.
Some people just seem to disappear.... and not even let me know when they receive a gift which makes my job even harder.
Due to non-responses to my messages, it takes longer to finish things each year. In fact, I just closed out the 2013 Santa process about a month ago when the final gift was delivered....

I've been one of the active ones over the last 4 years who likes to see what people have received and also reply to wharvey's messages promptly and send my gifts out on time.
It is disheartening when people sign up, receive things and then don't post a thank you (even if you don't like it...at least acknowledge you received it!)
For someone like myself where postage costs are quite costly on top of the minimum $50USD spend...(and I usually participate 3 or 4 times every year) please also consider what you're asking for from Santa. Many of the participants are not from the USA so just writing down "Wine" or "Food gifts" is difficult for those with custom restrictions, so it's good to offer as many suggestions as you can.
And I'm still waiting from a gift from 2012 that never arrived...I think someone was telling Santa fibs that year.

Maybe post #3 of this thread could be used for the instructions on how to upload photos to FT? Last year those got strung out across 7 or 8 posts deep in the Secret Santa thread, and the first time you upload photos it isn't the simplest process.

This is my first time considering to sign up for the program. I just feel that I would not know what to buy someone, even with their clues. Is there a place to find what types of gifts were given in years past?
