Remember to PM wharvey when you ship your gifts out (including contents and tracking numbers) and when you receive presents (including contents)!
This wikipost is not a completely authoritative resource of Secret Santa progress, but a resource to see what everyone has received
Don't forget to include pictures if you can!

Alternatively: To include pictures in your posts, upload your picture to somewhere on the internet (a list of sites can be found in the wiki here). Then, use the image tags to post the picture, making sure to use the URL of the picture itself instead of the webpage ([IMG]the URL of the picture[/IMG], making sure that the URL contains the .JPG/.PNG/.GIF/whatever).

I received two sets of gifts when I returned from vacation

From an unknown gifter
NW-the first 80 years

CA 774 model, which is now sitting on my desk next to my laptop

and a package from Brenda

ETA: I also found the amazon gift card in my mailbox at work!

Thanks so much!
Unfortunately this means I'm one santa short, as this is only 5 of 6.
Also, if a Santa sent me any e-mails, I most likely didn't get them as I was on vacation and my spam box auto-erases periodically. If you did send me something via e-mail, please let me know!

Chief Santa wants to publicly thank Evanderm for the two rum cakes I received yesterday.

My partner took ownership of both of them....

He finished one off last night... and took the second one to work this morning.

I wonder how Evanderm got my mailing address? Have you been up to no-good again Head Elf?

You're welcome.

Please tell him to be careful at work, they actually are doused in rum after baking so there is alcohol content in them.

If anyone remembers this movie from the late 60's - early 70's A Guide for the Married Man, then you'll remember this quote Deny Deny Deny.

http://www.kgbanswers.co.uk/what-fil...e-from/3398923 It's a reference to a wife walking in on her husband while he's having an affair. He calmly gets dressed as he denies what she's seeing.

Santa, the HeadElf asked me to convey the above message to you.

In Newport Beach, the phrase got changed to "heels against the bar, deny, deny, deny ..." and I know someone who has the same Aug 21 bday!

Has anyone out there ever not acknowledged a gift? Would you be willing to post why? I always assumed it meant that it wasn't liked, but there may be other reasons. wharvey has stated, "non responses will get closed as gifts all received," so some may never know if their gifts were indeed received or just disliked or not acknowledged for some other reason?

Heck, people will not even respond to me... made it clear I need a PM when shipping and receiving... and then provide no detail if they do respond.... I am certain my workload on this project is five-fold more than it should be just by non-responses.

And, add onto that the number of e-certificates that get deleted/sent to SPAM (up to 27 so far this year) that have only been "found" or resent after I intervened.

One of my 6 giftees responded to wharvey that his gift was received but he has never posted to this thread. I'm not going to worry myself if he liked the gift or not. I really tried to get something cool but if he can't be bothered to post a simple "got it" or "thanks" then it's not my issue that he is, IMHO, rude.

I participate every year (this was my 7th year) to try to bring a little joy to the season for my fellow FTer's but I also don't want to stress about it.

My other 5 giftees posted to this thread and all liked their gifts - so that makes me happy.

Already looking forward to 2015 FT Secret Santa - but I do wish people would follow Wharvry's rules to make it easier on him. Wharvey is a great asset to this community.

Wharvey, I've sent a couple emails saying I have yet to receive my second gift. I have not received a response. Just a little worried you may not have seen them!!

gosh, had no idea! @:-) I have always meant to make it a point to send an e-giftcard cause it seemed so much more direct to receive, and there would be no need for back and forth. You may want to make mention in your details. Ay, carumba!

I usually avoid e-gift cards, but have occasionally needed/wanted to send them. In those cases, I usually follow up with an email or ask an elf to follow up to be sure the gift card was received.

This year, I had my first non-US recipient, and there was mention about wanting a gift card, so I sent one, as it avoided any fees for the recipient, and was what they wanted.

Hello everyone,

I have just returned from vacation. I have received a few gifts, and will post photos and an update soon. Namely:

Received a book on London Heathrow Terminal 5
Received a BA 747 Replica Model
Received some nice bottles of Rioja

Thank you to my santas.

I believe a few items/gifts have gone missing, which is a shame.
