Remember to PM wharvey when you ship your gifts out (including contents and tracking numbers) and when you receive presents (including contents)!
This wikipost is not a completely authoritative resource of Secret Santa progress, but a resource to see what everyone has received
Don't forget to include pictures if you can!

Alternatively: To include pictures in your posts, upload your picture to somewhere on the internet (a list of sites can be found in the wiki here). Then, use the image tags to post the picture, making sure to use the URL of the picture itself instead of the webpage ([IMG]the URL of the picture[/IMG], making sure that the URL contains the .JPG/.PNG/.GIF/whatever).

Empress Cobaka, Generalissimo Geno, and Field Marshal Mauser received a package today, from a Secret Santa--it contained treats, which they are currently trying to convince me to give to them! Cobaka and Geno insisted I open their wrapped present, while Mauser unwrapped his own! They all say thank you!!!

So I just want to comment on a couple of things. I am not a designated elf, just a worried Secret Santa gifter.

Shipping - Some online websites (Amazon) are sending out multiple packages for a single order. So if you get a package and the dollar value seems low, be patient because you may have more on the way! Also Secret Santa may have used more than one vendor which would also mean multiple packages.

FT SS and FT Santa Paws dual participants - You may get a little tiny treat or gift from your Secret Santa for your pet if you mentioned one. Again because some online vendors (Amazon) are sending out multiple packages it may appear that your FT Santa Paws match wasn't generous when in fact it was your Secret Santa sending a little something for your precious pet.

I hope I have completely confused you all now, if I haven't let me know and I will add a little more gobbledygook and gibberish up here.

The card that came with the dog treats mentioned that Santa's Lacey enjoys the treats, and there's no Macy in the Santa Paws exchange, so I'm assuming it's Secret Santa.

(That's what happens when I read the card when I'm very sleepy!)

Thanks for posting this. I have only shipped one gift, but more will be on their way to assignees when I am home at Thanksgiving after 2 weeks of nonstop travel. I had purchased all the gifts for my assignees, but one of my assignees already received 2 of the items that I had purchased from their wish list from another SS, so it's back to the drawing board.

Now I know understand why so many Santas ship their presents out right way!

I'm realizing that I wasn't very specific in my bio, and I'm not a frequent poster (so getting clues from my posts won't work), so if my SS wants some more info from me, don't hesitate to ask!

Dribbling Gifts

In the past some SSs have dribbled gifts to confuse, induce suffering and or appreciation, to be a little different, ... So it may be a tactic. Most giftees have learned to be patient for the reasons mentioned above and for these sneaky santas

Not sure if this was a response to me or a PSA, but I'm not having any issues being patient, just trying to make SS's life easier

Oh no no, not calling anyone impatient, just letting people know they may not want to despair if it seems their gift is not that good. I think there was a post above yours that mentioned something about shipping being the reason, but no one is immune from crafty santas
