Another great Japan DO! A heartfelt thanks to the organizers for the good
program, and for keeping the relatively free-spirited group mostly on track.

Looking forward to #4 already.

Just arrived back at HND after taking the first flight out of FUK this morning. Pouring down rain again in FUK but I managed to avoid bringing the rain with me.

Thanks to everyone who attended -- seeing everyone enjoy themselves in my adopted home country is great, and it makes all of the preparation worthwhile. We will announce the location and date of the next Do once we've all had a chance to sort ourselves out

CTS?

Might be a bit cooler

But a huge thanks to everyone who set this up, and those who helped me get around- both by train, subway, bus, taxi, and even a private car back from Costco.

Bob W and I made it to DXB early this morning. At a Sheraton waiting for a room to open up... as we didn't get quite enough sleep on the redeye.

Hit my 3rd (and final) Costco of the trip yesterday- was crazy.

Have the day in DXB and onto LAX and ANC tomorrow- will be a long day.

I had a great time at Japan Do #3. It was nice meeting known and new flyertalkers from all over the world. I liked the trip to Nagasaki and the Do Dinner most.

And even the cherry blossoms and Sakura, but that wasn't part of the Do

I say a big "Thank You" to the organizers, you did a very good job and made this Do to an unforgetable and awesome Do.

I would be in, if there is a Japan Do #4.....

Any opinions of where to have Do #4? Kyoto? Kobe? Osaka?

I think Sapporo was being tossed around over the weekend as well.

I'd vote CTS...as I'd hope the temperatures would be a bit less

Although I'd also take the Hawaii of Japan

I'll also add my thanks to the organizers for a great event. We didn't do all the extra day trips, opting instead to head up to TYO for a couple days, but the time spent in and around FUK with everyone was certainly fun!

Hawaii of Japan sounds like fun for next year...

By the end of next week I will have a house not THAT far from CTS myself, but it is still quite cold in April!

OKINAWA! So many side trips, but very poor public transportation. I live here, but wonder if we could keep everyone entertained for a weekend. At least by the end of the summer we will have a Hyatt, Double Tree, Hilton, and several Marriott properties among others.
