Do you know if parking on the visitors parking lot at the Lufthansa facilities will be permitted? Or do we need to park in the regular HAM parking?

Just use P9 opposite the visitors center: http://airport.de/en/airport_parking.phtml

Please don't forget to bring your winter-clothes and umbrellas for the weekend.

The weather forecast looks extremely poor for the weekend and I do not remember any harbour birthday in the last 25 years with such bad weather.

"Unfortunately" I will not be in Hamburg next weekend.

Any plans for a drink or even dinner on Friday evening? I should be installed in the Radisson Blu by 19h00.

Boarding flight to FRA in 5 minutes. I should have chosen a direct flight on 4U.

We are at the http://www.schlachterboerse.de/ from 8.30pm onwards, everything in HH is booked solid due to the port event.

Hah! Was there a few weeks ago. It's not huge inside...

Feldstrasse on the U3 is the closest station, with Sternschanze also on the U3 slightly further away.

FRA connection experience I don't wish to repeat anytime soon but it's good for the FRA connection thread.

Myself and BTjnr will try and get there. We land at HAM (on bmi from BRS) at 19:25, and need to get down to the Crowne Plaza first.

As I will arrive at 21:35h in HAM I guess I have to skip the Schlachterbrse, even if I would love to have some Filetsteak instead of Lufthansas Leberks for dinner.

See you tomorrow morning. Anybody else except of mtresc and me at the Holiday Inn?

Arrived to see the rather sad faces of Lufthansaflyer and the lucky winner, sadly the wx gods nixed the JU52 flight. We saw quite a bit of HH in the afternoon, from Warships to LH flag on tiny sailboats to funky neighborhoods.

Had a fun evening at the Schlaechterboerse, really good steaks and portions, thank you sunseeker for the tip!

ClaudiSTR invited us all for a Kuestennebel at Ciel, thank you for that too!

Now for some sleep. Lets see if the weather gets any better tomorrow.
