Sorry to report that I won't be able to attend Saturday night's dinner.

Just when I thought I could finally join y'all again, familial obligations pop up and trash my plans. Hope to catch the next one.

7 train not in Manhattan

Note to Manhattan folks:
Remember weekend 7 trains go only btwn Hunters Point and Flushing.

This cut and paste from mta.info

No trains between Hunters Point Av and Times Sq-42 St
trains and free shuttle buses provide alternate service
Weekends, 2:15 AM Sat to 4:30 AM Mon, Mar 14 - 16 • Mar 21 - 23 • Mar 28 - 30

service operates between Main St and Hunters Point Av*.

I'm planing on 7 leaving Queensboro 622pm. By the conductor stripe board.

thewayofthefuture is now my official restaurant picker. Mulan is now my favorite Chinese restaurant in the NY Metro area. This is an upscale place, with food to match. Looking forward to the next country that works with my schedule. ^

Nice group too!

It was definitely a pleasant surprise, just wish i had called earlier about corkage

We're going to keep things moving with Colombia for lunch next Saturday, March 21. There are plenty of Colombian options in the city, but I want to visit a few of them tonight before settling on a location. Details coming soon!

I would love to join you, but it's my first weekend in NYC now (last time was in 2004), so I just want to get "acquainted" to the city a bit more before I start going "deep". Besides that... it seems quite complicated to get from the area around Flusing Meadows to central Brooklyn. Google Maps tells me fastest way is going via Manhattan.

Next time (given the prices are affordable for me) I will be in!
