Booking Overflow Hotel

Use Code CI1
I attempted to book the overflow hotel using the above code, but an error message described there were no available rooms. Yet, when I attempted without the code, it appeared rooms were available. Any ideas?

It's been known that both the host and over flow hotel has sold the allotted rooms. This is why you can book a room at the normal price. These events sell out very quickly!!!

For the HH folks, the $69 advance purchase at the Doubletree Elk Grove Village - Wood Dale is still available. Award nights are 10k each or 4K/$35 for Points and Money awards.

I have a ticket to the seminar but I couldn't make it because of schedule conflict. It would be great if someone can take it off my hands. I will eat the $20 change fee. PM me if you are interested.

Airline & Hotel Discounts

Less than three months to go!

If you haven't booked your flight and/or hotel room, consider the following:

1. Discounts on UA, AA & DL air fares of at least 5% are available. Details in Post 62 for UA, Post 158 for DL and Post 196 for AA.

2. YourRoomKey.com is a members only web site which has various discounted rates available including an SPG property next to the overflow HI for $79. Complimentary memberships are available to attendees who PM me.

Feel free to PM me with questions.

Chris

Thanks for the reminder! I am booked in for the overflow hotel already. I wouldn't mind switching to a Hilton property though if there is one near by, I should look in to that ASAP!

As for flights I annoyingly wont know my schedule for October until early september so I unfortunately must leave that booking late, although I have never booked domestic travel more than 1 month in advanced so it wont be unusual for me. I will be flying AA out of one of the NY area airports, direct on my way to ORD and with a stop in STL, IND, or CLE on the return for more miles, if anyone wants to coordinate flight times I am happy to guest in to the AC.

Regardless I cannot wait!!

Since Chitown is full of amazing places to eat, is anyone looking to set up a run to one of these incredible places?

I am really looking forward to this event. Went to the first one and was really impressed by the excellent work done by an all-volunteer cast. I hope that if there are problems, people will be understanding and appreciative of the efforts of others.

Is there any way to waitlist for the sessions that are already full?

all that's been said is that there is no wait-list for sold out sessions. What hasn't been addressed is the "none" option in the registration drop down. what does this get you? your pick once you get to the seminars? is the size of the room being decided based on who registers for which session? or are the two sessions being divided equally amongst conference rooms which would explain the grayed out sessions?

My wife and i would like to join the group wherever you pick. Close enough to cab would be nice.

I watch your CHI meetup postings and would like to learn how you got all the activity started. DFW has nothing close.
