I miss seeing tumbleweeds. I don't see them at all here in Northern Virginia.

As for Old Mesilla, whenever I get back to the area, I usually make a pit stop at St Clair Winery in Old Mesilla just to stock up on their bottled, pre-made Mimosas.

An excellent heads-up that is indeed. The St. Clair Winery has just made our must visit list.

It doesn't look good for me to be able to come. The company I'm with doesn't go to or through El Paso. So cant fit it into work. I doubt I can take the days off because a couple weeks later I'm taking a week off to attend a wedding that my fiancé says I must attend.

...so who will soil the koi pond in your stead? You need to attend!

More importantly — you have a fiancée?!?

...and a fiancé is a man engaged to be married, not a woman.

We do expect him to make his appearance that weekend so that he can see for himself.

I think that he might find a bit of difference from AKL out there in El Paso. :D

Why am I not surprised?

In another thread, I was in Louisville speculating about bringing a Derby Pie to ELP since you enjoyed it quite bit on your visit and it is unlikely that we will be able to generate a chocoflan for dessert.
