Cool ELP DO 3: October 27-28

Yes, kids, your eyes are are not playing tricks on you, there has been an interest for people to come down to ELP for another flyertalk gathering

So, what do you think? Are you interested in making to good old El Paso, and spend a day or so in the harsh weather (high of 78 )we have in the last week of October?

And no, there is no concern for your safety here, as El Paso is the nation's safest city, #2 Best Economy in the US and an ALL AMERICAN CITY, whatever that means

Having said all that, what do you guys think?

We need to come up with a few ideas of what you would like to do here, but Satuday or Sunday evening, dinner at my house as always

Let me know who is interested in making it into the Sun City

^ ^ ^ We will be there.

It is time for another visit to The Mansion with an evening of Rosie's cooking thrown in.

One thing that I am going to try to procure this year, as it will not be as easy as years past, is the Chocoflan

Juarez is a no travel zone for anyone I know, and my friend Javier is now married and lives in El Paso

That one is going to be a though thing to get this time around

And we can work on the menu, I assume Rosie's brisket would be in order, but what else

This better include a tour of the taco factory!

Or maybe just a trip to the nuthouse.

"Do you live in the El Paso TX or Las Cruces NM area? Well then, don't forget to stop by the Azar Nut Shop located at 1800 Northwestern Drive in far west El Paso (79912). The Nut Shop offers a wide assortment of nuts and snack mixes manufactured right here at our plant on the same premises. Bulk and retail items are available as well as gift packs for the holiday season. We also have a selection of candy from which you can choose. The store is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and on Saturday from 10am to 4pm. For more information call us at 915-877-1133."

I am not aware that there is an Old El Paso factory here, I think they are made in NYC

The nutshop is like 5 minutes away from my house, it's not really that big of a deal, just a small room with tons of nuts and some other candy

And Stahmanns closed

Even though this is the weekend right after the LEX Horse & Bourbon Do, please put me as a maybe.

I've always wanted to get to ELP as well as make the long drive to Big Bend National Park.

I'm upset about missing the LEX Do for the second straight year since I have tix to (:-: attention jfe) the Redskins at Giants that weekend.

And I do not recall Big Bend National Park on any of the previous ELP Dos so that should be strongly considered as an event.

Also, we need some more big guys as bodyguards for Javier on the way over and back from Juarez with the chocoflan.

That's roughly 5 hours from ELP
