Thought I'd post a link to that Hyatt. I hadn't looked it up before, looks pretty neat!

Last year's summer rate was 600 AED (approx $160) and included a 10% F&B credit too (applied to the very pricey but mind-blowing buffet). Those of us who were there last year are hoping for a similar special...but maybe eightblack can pull off some magic.

Much like From NYC, I am very interested in doing this again, but I need to figure out how squeeze this into other travel/commitments and find some crazy F reward routing .

I’ve just had a PM conversation with Jeff Zidell of Hyatt Gold Passport over some matters we discussed at the OWMD, and I wrote that I was looking to head back to Dubai again for this Do. Mentioned that I’d stayed at the Park the last time, along with several others, with some at the Grand, and that I was looking to spend a night or 2 at the Capital Gate, with some others tending interest. Nothing in stone yet. Asked if someone there might arrange backstage tours of the hotels and that I was hoping that summer rate might be announced in time to use one of my presently-existing suite certs.

He came back with an offer to put me, and I’d toss this eightblack’s way, with the Hyatt GP Director of Loyalty in Dubai.

Meanwhile, it’d be good to get a handle on how many people would go to Abu Dhabi either before or after the Do, so we know how many would stay overnight at the Capital Gate Hyatt. Please note if you’d prefer going there before or after the Dubai Do, or if either is okay.

I'm going to have to go as a provisional for now, these dates are the same as the Le Mans 24hr race and I'm supposed to be heading there.
Not totally sure that the trip will happen though, so as I live in DXB it's no issue.

Very new person to these forums, shy and quiet individual, but as its an hours flight away. Why not, just make sure it stays during the weekend! I'll confirm by end of May since I'm a last minute person, sorry!
