With gvdIAD unfortunately out of town, I went crazy and made a whole bunch of reservations for next week. Let me know if there's any interest out there - I know GoingAway already told me what she's in for, but I forgot
. They're all for "$$$" and "$$$$"-type places, and they're also all for 4 people.

Edit: keeping the ones I will actually make. I haven't canceled the others yet, so post if you're interested and I'll switch the reservation name over to you (I guess Acadiana was the only potential keeper).

Looks like there wasn't enough interest in Acadiana and, given the exhausting week I am having, probably just as well not to be out that late tomorrow night.

mwg25 will be in DC the first weekend in February. I happen to be in town that weekend as well (shocking, I know), so would propose that we schedule a lunch or dinner for Saturday, February 6 or Sunday, February 7. I don't remember when the Super Bowl starts on Sunday, but would guess that if we have an early dinner, we'd be finished in time for everyone who wishes to watch the game.
Lunch is better for me on Saturday, and dinner is better for me on Sunday. Any one else have timing preferences?
I'd suggest something in DC (warning - DC meters now operate Saturday all day). Suggestions?

I've not yet decided on a venue for lunch on Saturday the 6th, but expect to do so by this weekend.

Hi everybody. Please include me for Saturday afternoon, Feb. 6. I am going out today to unthaw and scout around the Penn Quarter area for some venues. I will post back in a few hours.

I just made a reservation for a party of 8 at Jaleo for 12:30 pm (that was the only time they had) next Saturday, February 6. Jaleo is at 7th and D Sts., NW, 2 blocks north of the Archives/Navy Memorial Metro Station (Yellow & Green lines) and 2 blocks south of the Gallery Place/China Town Station (7th Street exit) (Red, Yellow & Green lines).
Check out their website.
Hope to see everyone there.

Okay. I've gone to Jaleo many times. They have good tapas. I'll be there at 12:30 pm on Feb. 6 for lunch. Look forward to it.
