Would anyone be interested in a regular HH next Friday, November 5 or Saturday, November 6? My life in mid-November's looking hectic even by my standards, and the first weekend in November looks like the only time I'll be available until mid-December.

Suggestions for something in DC would be welcome. I'm always happy to head to the Penn Quarter, though I'd want to know whether there's anything going on at the Verizon Center.

So, any takers?

Debbie and Greg: thanks for putting this on!

And yes, please hold the political discussions until another time and place!

I am available on both days-Nov. 5 or 6.

Some suggestions to think about in Downtown DC: Zaytinya on G Street; Zola's on F Street; Poste at Hotel Monaco; what's the name of the place that replaced the District Chophouse? on 7th St.; we went to Clyde's last year. Other suggestions? Yays or nays on any of these?

ps Attendees - please hold any political discussions for another time and place.
I count only 5 attendees. Who is the phantom 6th person? I'll show up for at least a drink and snack.

Can I have a seat at the table, too?

Maybe as a Rally Attender I'm seated at the Kids' Table and don't count.

I'm off tomorrow (Thu) on the redeye. See you all Friday!

PS - If anyone will pass near Courtyard Dupont on their way in/out, lemme know. I haven't figured out best way to get to Levante's (metro, bus, on foot?). And FYI, I have no cell phone.

On foot, it should be under 10 minutes. Levante's is more or less due south of the Courtyard. Walk south on Connecticut to Dupont Circle and around the circle to 19th.

Anyone else? If not, I'll reduce the reservation number mid-day on Friday. If anyone knows of secret (and free would be nice parking places nearby, please let me know

2. Levantes has a Happy Hour 4- 7. I will try to get there at 6:30 for a HH drink. Whynotgo is a frugal guy!!!

Thanks to everyone who came out tonight!

gvdIAD, guess which currency I used tonight. Ask GoingAway.

[For the after-partiers: My ice cream is soup.]
