What time will everybody be there? I'd like to get a few drinks at the bar if anyone is interested.

I return on Thursday evening, but could wake myself for dinner on Friday. Dupont Circle area makes sense to me.

Hey, don't forget that I'm a local as well. I am available this Friday. What about Levante's Restaurant on 19th St. at the south exit of Dupont Circle Station in DC?

Anyone else want to offer a venue suggestion?

If we can't get a reservation at Levante's, here are a few ideas (assuming we want to do Dupont Circle area)
Scion - haven't eaten there, but it got a best new restaurant award from somewhere and the menu sounds good (contemporary American, sort of fusiony, interesting cocktails)
La Tomate or Odeon - both Italian places that always seem to be busy. Never been to either.
Pesce - good seafood and some other French inspired stuff, but might be a bit pricy. I think it is not as good as Hank's, but the latter would be impossible to get into.
Firefly - I've only been there for drinks, so not sure how the actual food is
My Dupont mainstay is Bistrot du Coin, but only if I am eating with people I don't actually want to talk with because it is way too loud to carry on a conversation there.

Wirelessly posted (goingaway\'s phone: BlackBerry8900/4.6.1.231 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)
I'll call this afternoon, as of now OpenTable was denying the reservation

We're good at Levantes - the ressie is for 10 and can be adjusted as needed closer to dinnertime (which is 7pm)

I've added the dinner on Friday, October 29, at 7:00 pm at Levantes - DuPont Circle as a confirmed event on p1 of this thread. Sorry I won't be in town.

Thanks ... 4 more spots under the current reservation. Anyone else visiting this weekend and interested in dinner?
