I've def seen offers of $95 one time credit + 1K TYP for $1K spend per month.

I’m surprised too. I triple checked with the guy and he insisted that yes, I would earn $285 in statement credits. Honestly, I have my doubts. 3 follow up calls to Citi, including to another retention agent, yielded 3 different answers. #1 - had no idea about any retention offer and transferred to a retention specialist…#2 retention specialist - he said no. I would only get $95 +1k TY points. #3 - confident agent. Read terms and said she interprets it to mean what I was offered the $285 stmt cr+ 3k ty points. She also clarified that these were 2 separate offers attached to the account - one for the stmt cr and the other for the ty points. I asked if it was written anywhere something to the effect of “limit of $285 in credits and 3k ty points”. She said no. Seems like the only way to know for sure is to put the spend. The thing is I’m interested in what I was offered, but if it is only $1k spend/mo for 3 months, to only get $95, I would not have accepted it.

Got the usual offers that I've been seeing for years

1. Premier: Accepted the send 3k, 10kTYP offer
2. Professional: Spend 300, get 3500 TYP, accepted

Got this same offer on my personal AAdvantage card when I called in. $1,000 in spend and they'll give me a statement credit equal to the annual fee. That was about 2 weeks ago and there's no indication or tracker on my account.

Long term Citi Strata Premier, maybe 5k spend last year. No offer, automatic system offered to cancel the card. Decided to keep it.

AA Platinum Select: 1 year old, min spend, no offers.

Did you try? I'm going to call later today. I'm expecting my first child in June and don't expect flying much the next year, so not chasing AA status or expect to fly that much to justify the steep fee.

Called today for an AAdvantage Personal card. First anniversary, only a little spend outside of SUB and a targeted spending bonus.

No offer from the automated phone tree. Backed out, transferred to an agent, no offer there either, aside from downgrade to a MileUp. Canceled.
