Thank You Premier card. Second renewal. ~4-5K spend in last year. Was given a $95 statement credit after spending 3K in 3 months. Was also given the option of $95 credit plus 1000 thank you points for 1K spend in each of the next 3 months. The latter option would have required more thought and tracking on my part so I took the $95 statement credit for 3K spending.

Got offered 2 Admirals Club passes on my AA business card for spending $150 within 3 months. Passes supposedly arrive 1-2 billing cycles after the purchases made.

Anyone know how quickly the retention Admirals Club passes actually get sent out? Have a trip coming up in a couple months and would like to use the passes then. (Don't want to have them arrive too late like my Business Extra upgrade did for my transcon trip.)

For the 7 month retention offer on the Prestige, if you miss a month, does that end the gravy train or can you pick it up again after that? It looks like I'm going to miss it this month but it's month 6 of 7, so not the end of the world. Just curious if I should try next month in month 7.

Can skip one or more months and continue to earn the $50/mo until the seventh consecutive month from the first.

Just called the Prestige card to cancel - as I've switched to the CSR. Retention offer was $50 statement credit on $1,500 monthly purchases for 7 consecutive months to get back to the $350

Went ahead and closed the card

AA Platinum Select

No fee waiver or miles offer. Rep offered to downgrade to AA Bronze or Double Cash. I went with Double Cash.

I opened the card in 2015 and received statement credits for the past 2 years.

1. Citi Prestige; 2nd anniversary; around $14,000 spend in 2017. Offered and accepted a $50 statement credit in each of the next 7 billing cycles in which I spend $1500. Also offered some of the alternatives others have listed but did not write them down.

2. Citi Premier; 2nd anniversary; no offers 1st anniversary; only around $300 spend in 2017. Offered and accepted a $95 statement credit after spending $95 within next two billing cycles, plus 500 bonus TY points each billing cycle, for spending $500 or more during each of the next 16 billing cycles.

3. DH's Citi Premier; 2nd anniversary; no offers 1st anniversary; around $1100 spend in 2017. No offers. Kept open so as not to reset the 24 mo clock in hopes of getting a Prestige when/if it has a bonus again.

Also asked about Dividend and Costco cards; no offers aside from promotional interest rates.

You've gotta wonder who is coming up with these because between options 1 and 4, 1 results in a $350 credit for min $10,500 in spend, but 4 is a $200 credit for min $12,000 in spend.

Also it's important to realize that Citi can't count. I accepted retention offer number 1 in August. Last month I spent like $400 and still got the $50 credit. Like, what?

AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard.

Called on 11-FEB-2018.

Three offers made.

1) $95 credit after $95 spend within 1 month
2) 10,000 Miles after $3000 spend within 3 months
3) 7,500 miles after $1000 spend within 3 months

The initial offer was the $95 credit. Asked if they had more, at which point they came back with number two. Asked if any more and they came back with number 3. And that was it for available offers.

Just took the $50/mo deal for 1500 spending on the Prestige, Anyone know what date range its over? Is it by statement date? Or the date I enrolled in the promo?

Is the link correct?

I keep getting a simple "page not found".

Link works correctly for me (on a different computer than the one on which I created the post). It's in previous generation of this thread:

Thanks. The new link works.
And, of course, now the first one works, too.
Computer gremlins, again...
