Opened the card late Nov, received Dec 10 and immediately purchased $100 Delta eGC....statement closes next week, we shall see if the credit posts.

Update: statement closed on Dec 16, $100 credit had posted.

What is the description of the category on the purchase for the Delta/SW gift card? Trying to see if mine will qualify.

Has anyone gotten an AA GC to be reimbursed after around March of 2019? This is the approximate time that Amex reimbursement stopped working and the charge text actually identifies it as a GC purchase.

I weirdly received a $85.43 “Airline/Global Entry Fee Credit" on December 11, after a $85.43 Southwest flight ticket purchase on November 25 (after Southwest Travel Credit was applied). I guess anything airline related under $100 they just assume is an airline-related fee?

Now I'm curious if I can still get something else for the remaining $14.57...

Unable to read your card numbers due to their terrible color choices? I had to get mine replaced just a month after getting it, and the one that arrived this week is perfectly legible, with thicker, white font. May be worth getting a replacement if you've been frustrated with the legibility.

It seems like airline GCs are the best way to go. On my Dec statement:

$50 Delta GC - credited
$113 United Economy Plus seat selection - not credited
$54 Southwest flight - not credited

My Alaska Premium Class seat upgrade was successfully auto reimbursed at statement closed. I'm surprised that the UA E+ did not work.

Mine is legible, but my card appears to have coating/lamination problem. I've requested a replacement, but it looks like a car that has peeling clear coat.

That triple dip would have been getting credits for 2019, 2020 and 2021. With first statement closing in 2020 unfortunately where was no way to make use of 2019 credit.

i already got my 2019 credit. and using the 2020 credit soon. I am talking for 2021.
Does it go by statement or actual date purchased? since my December 2020 would close on jan 3 2021. If I bought on jan 2, would I get the 3rd credit?

I believe you can buy the GC at any time after Dec statement closes, no need to wait til Jan.
