Tell me an agency that can't trim 3% off its budget and I would call those administrators incompetent.

"Incompetent" is too kind of a word to describe Naphole.

If this imbecile can't manage with 8% less (hint: eliminate some harassment) then she should fired, in addition to being tarred & feathered then deported to North Korea for being a disgusting, un-American scumbag.

Airports contradict Janet Napolitano's sequester claim

However, when contacted by The Daily Telegraph, spokespeople for both O'Hare and LAX, as well as representatives from the travel industry, denied that airports had been hit by delays.

"We haven't had any slowdowns at all," said Marshall Lowe, a spokesman for LAX. Mr Lowe said that he had been on duty over the weekend and received no reports of unusual security delays.

DeAllous Smith, a spokesman for Hartfield-Jackson, said: "There have been no abnormally long lines at the security checkpoint nor unusual aircraft delays at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport as a result of sequestration."

Time for Ms. Napolitano to get out of the office and visit some airports.

I meant all federal agencies. Pistole can take a 100% reduction and make America a better place. All the rest 3 to 5% without even working up a sweat.

Do they have speed bumps on runways?

Do they need one?

I guess not, Luis. There's a time to put down the shovel and stop digging.

(And wow, the commenters on the Telegraph site make TS&S/CBPD look like high tea in a Jane Austen novel. )

Are they so incompetent that they did not get AP management on board with the plan before spreading the scare stories?

Wait, just answered my own question. Sorry. As you were.

Very telling that it takes a foreign news entity to report on this. The domestic news agencies are being good little sheep and producing articles without research or questions for the DHS.

FWIW ... late afternoon departure today at DTW (North Terminal) ... there was practically no line leading up to the TDC. Getting through screening was no worse than other times (and better than many).

Or just ____can the entire TSA and give the responsibility for airport and airline security back to the airports and airlines.
Amen.

Don't worry... I'm sure these rogue airports processing passengers efficiently will quickly be brought into line.
