This is a question that I would like to pose. Do you think that all of these new airport security measures are actually effective enough that it is deterring potential terrorists that they are now pursuing other areas?
What I mean is that terrorists now know that it would be almost impossible to get through airport security so they decided to hit other targets?

If these so called terrorist want to get in the news then the easy way is to hit a soft target.

Can they do it? Yes!

Will they? The big unknown.

Given that the TSA is apparently failing 70-100% of their own "red team" tests, I don't see where terrorists would conclude that it is "almost impossible" to get through airport security.

and what if the targeted salad bar is in an airport food court?

Uh oh.

The TSA allows airport workers, TSOs, airline employees, and now flight crews and FAs to bypass security with minimal to no checks at all.

Certainly you would now agree that this is Bad Policy, and any and all persons entering the sterile area must be subjected to 100% of the same screening that the flying public are undergoing, wouldn't you?

Are you lobbying your agency to that end?

If a female has so small breasts that she doesnt wear a bra. Were would she hide dangerous things?
And then we have a small group of women that have non excisting breatst. All for various reasons.
Are they still going to be patted down?
We have read that TSO have made fun of small chested women, telling them they cant be women with that small breasts.
That makes no sence at all.

And that what eyecue said "they" have to patted down very hard ! Thank you so much, that really hurts.
Plus if you are a rape victim you are going to be a bakset case if that happens.
And it seems like if a female starts crying out of pain or just feeling bad, they will arrested her for interference with security!

Since then is it TSO job to decide how a traveler should feel.

Sick, perverted and insane.

Bioterrorist attacks are nothing new. In fact, it's old news:

The 1984 Rajneeshee bioterror attack was the food poisoning of more than 750 individuals in The Dalles, Oregon, United States, through the deliberate contamination of salad bars at ten local restaurants with salmonella. A leading group of followers of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (now known as Osho) had hoped to incapacitate the voting population of the city so that their own candidates would win the 1984 Wasco County elections. The incident was the first, and single largest bioterrorist attack in United States history. The attack is one of only two confirmed terrorist uses of biological weapons to harm humans.
What's your point exactly?

I think the TSA nonsense is really about catching drug smugglers, not terrorists.

I have personally only set off the alarm once and it resulted in a pat down. The female officer was awesome and very understanding. She basically didnt even touch my breasts. However I have a daughter and she sets off the machine (metal detector >12) for a random search every single time we fly which mostly ends in a pat down. We flew a couple months ago, and she had some action in the region. And the woman who patted her down (a child) was EXTREMELY thorough. She was standing there forever while this lady parted down her (small, developing) breasts for like a solid 12 minutes and payed little attention to the rest of her as if the search was pointless without checking her breasts.
