I think so, but not sure. But you could also just transfer your spouse's UR points to your UR account, then transfer the combined points to your frequent flyer account. No problems.

Oh, cool--I didn't know I could transfer my spouse's UR points to my UR account. Thanks!

Yes. No need to first consolidate in a single UR account, as others have suggested.

I just bought two Kintetsu Rail Passes for my upcoming trip to Japan and this would be considered travel as it is for train travel, but I feel like Chase won't automatically view it as such since the charge is just listed as Kintetsu International. Does anyone have any experience in contesting things of this nature?

Nice... Sears has gone from 10x to 6x to 5x in a matter of 3 days. Go Chase!

The iPhone app shows which category they list it in, but for some reason the full site does not. The rail tickets will get double miles.

Thanks for the heads up!

Mileage Transfer Partners

Hi

Can someone please confirm what airline programs you can transfer Chase Sapphire points to? I am looking to transfer the sign up bonus point to United's Mileage Plus.

Thanks!

Shopping portal reward levels are controlled by the merchant.

Call them to confirm the item is getting 2x points.

I posted earlier in the thread that Chase didn't post 2x points on subway ticket purchases for Paris Metro. I called and they gave me 2x points (only a small amount though...). The TGV tickets got 2x points. I think it just depends on if the vendor is flagged by Chase as a travel provider.

I know purchases made at LA Metro subway tickets machine get 2x points. NYC subway too if you buy ticket directly from the machine. ^

customer service

Does anyone use the concierge service? Was curious as to how what/how much they're able to do.

Just got my card a few weeks ago... still working on that 3k spending limit.

The category registered as "Travel and Entertainment" so it should be posting at 2X, but if not I will give them a call.
