While I’m not going to attain the top status, I do hope certain refinements mentioned above would come true. One to name is the reset after upgrade, which is quite deterring me from joining the game.

I have all the "new" magazine at home, seem Feb 2025 is the first time CX posted DM+ on the magainze page for oneworld

A sudden change seems not possible and yet that's the case. Devaluing DM's benefit and adding one more tier on top might give negative impact to CX.

They may have just recognized that 'plus' was just convoluted and totally meaningless in their new 'lifestyle' approach. Don't really take the omission as a sign of anything. They're already signalling quite a bit that changes are coming. Brace yourself fellas.

It's available inflight and in the lounges.

Is there any other way to get a copy?

No if you're not flying CX or using their lounge.

You can send an email to CX M&C and Cedar Publication see if you can buy one copy from them.

Somebody messed up. It's not supposed to be announced yet as they are finalizing it. But, soon what I said before will be publicized. I am not one that trolls. When I post, I post facts.

I didn't dispute the 5-tier proposal. There has been a lot of chatter for a long time.
I was curious about the qualifying requirements, especially if DMP is just a rebranded name for DM.

They are finalizing the details with the help of survey (both internal and external, both invited and general). But the general direction is they want to really reward people that spends and find a way to entice them to fly Cathay more. On the opposite end, those that relies on lower fares will find it harder to make Diamond tier. In short - make a Diamond Plus tier that offers personalized and luxurious travel experience such as personal meet and greet at airport, VIP escort through check-in, security, passport control, entry to lounge, and maybe, first boarding at the gates, and other add-ons that are in the works. They really want to make Diamond Plus a "wow" tier. Unfortunately to offset the costs, they want to lessen Silver and Gold, hence the 5-tier.

I really wish CX would reintroduce a LT tier.
