They are very likely fried up the system upgrade (migration of services to china wenzhou and peking).
For the instance, many of the card charges on 19-20th November got double posted on 22nd.
That means you are charged twice for a single transaction.

HSBC Rewardcash conversion to Avios requires a phone call. Used to be able to convert by fax but HSBC switched off fax machines "for your security" about two years ago. You can mail a form but last time I mailed anything like that to HSBC took five attempts.
So just curious - if they can do it by phone, has anyone got HSBC to convert by Internet Banking message?

This is what I'm worried about CX's breach
It's not CX leaked my payment info, but the info lifted from CX can then be used to attack another vulnerable institution for my info.

$500 minimum spend per transaction seems to be the new norm for dining promotions, and not just for HSBC... makes it difficult to collect on a regular, day-to-day work week!
