Downloadable PDF -- so will need to have a Canto speaker translate it for me.

They are very likely fried up the system upgrade (migration of services to china wenzhou and peking).

For the instance, many of the card charges on 19-20th November got double posted on 22nd.
That means you are charged twice for a single transaction.

So just curious - if they can do it by phone, has anyone got HSBC to convert by Internet Banking message?
I've converted RC to Avios by phone and by physically handing in the conversion form at a branch. I assume they stick it in the internal post or something.

I once asked my RM to convert by email, and was referred to the form.

I remember hearing snippits on the NowTV segment on this
Carrie Lam and Paul Chan's HKID and DOB can be lifted on CR records
Added with some guesses on what cards Carrie and Paul has (Paul must have a BoC https://www.boci.com.hk/eng/creditca...sc_hkicpa.html !!!) and TU will release their credit reports.

This is what I'm worried about CX's breach
It's not CX leaked my payment info, but the info lifted from CX can then be used to attack another vulnerable institution for my info.

Percy,

Thanks for the post. Quick questions:

1. What is the spending cap for this round? HK 8,000?

2. If I have Visa Signature (but Mannings not correct category), how many AM do I get if spending is Fri-Sun?

Thanks.

There's also an extra $400 for $38000 of local spend in >$500 chunks in the period.

$500 minimum spend per transaction seems to be the new norm for dining promotions, and not just for HSBC... makes it difficult to collect on a regular, day-to-day work week!

To clarify for someone who doesn't usually take advantage of these promos, does the bonus RC kick in only after you've accumulated $8,000 spend within the promotion period?

From the website:
  • Up to an extra 5% RewardCash rebate upon accumulating eligible transactions of HK$8,000 or above; of which dining transactions conducted with Visa Cards can earn another extra 5%, i.e. a total of up to an extra 10% RewardCash rebate.
  • Extra $400 RewardCash rebate upon accumulating eligible transactions of HK$38,000 or above.
