It looks like KLM887 has arrived. That's kind of crazy!

It also looks like its return flight is the only scheduled departure for early afternoon. Crazy is the word -it shouldn't be landing or attempting to take off in this weather.

I wonder how turbulent that landing was, crazy is right.

To be fair, the METAR is showing wind straight down the runway. So legal (cross winds are what shut runways) but give the windshear caused by Lantau, certainly more balls than brains

Most major airlines have a 50 knot wind limit for normal operations. Opening doors or inflating slides gets difficult in stronger winds.

I'm flying CX472 to TPE tomorrow.

I already plan to get to the airport early, like 10, to make use of the F lounges. Is there anything else I should be doing?

Alaska points ticket, so re-booking is probably a hassle as mentioned in previous posts. Hoping to fly on time because I have a non-refundable hotel.

Should maybe check to see if you're flight is leaving on schedule tomorrow before heading into the airport and if yes, is it leaving on scheduled departure time or is there a delay/re-timed departure time.

Airport express still not back up. Apparently a technical issue. Queues are building nicely!

First delayed flight CX 288 is approaching HKG right now, with a massive stream trailing behind. Hopefully operations resume to normal soon.
