Thanks for this extremely comprehensive response - as you said, I was sure the answers were in here somewhere but hard to find, so it's great to have someone with knowledge share it!

The mini-cabin is interesting. I think I've decided to give the first row of that a try for one leg, and two windows for the second (mostly a red-eye, and so we can, with luck, enjoy the skyline for takeoff). I'll give my feedback if the trip actually happens!

Edit:
I actually decided to take 15D/G. Given the time of the flight and reports of meals running out and slow service, I'd like to get dinner ASAP and was a bit worried about the foot traffic coming up to use the toilet. 15 seems like enough buffer from the front galley and any babies.

Any issues with the bulkhead seats? I'm currently assigned to 40A and 40K on two flights in the A350. I'm reading that 60A/K is better? Any pictures of the seat? I'm guessing this set has a tray table that folds and slides into the armrest?

Can you explain why? How is it better than 40A/K? Is the table tray on the right armrest for both A/K?

40A/K is standard.bulkhead window seat
60A/K has slightly more legroom as your leg room encroaches to the life raft protrusion at door 3L/R.

Full recline. Downside is the bassinet at 39DEG. The cabin curtain is angled

Maybe less than a non-spouse human being sitting that close and/or stumbling through the aisle.

A350-900

Is there much bedspace difference when fully flat on window seats (A&K) compared to middle seats (D&G)? Travelling as a couple but will be sleeping most the flight to trying to work out which to go for. Will be going for Mid cabin (14-17 row). Any advice much appreciated.
