35G (A350-900)

J seats:
- 11D/G protrude forward and are subject to a lot of disturbance from galley curtain and bathroom visitors
- Row 19 on such a quiet aircraft may be disturbed by galley noise
- 16A/K - one window only
- 20A/K - one window only


Y+ seats:
- Row 33 is misaligned with the Y cabin behind and is very close to the baby bassinets in row 39

Y seats:
- 60A/K have unlimited legroom, aisle access and a window

I have a flight from Seattle to HKG in January in business. I'm assigned seat 14A, but the cabin is wide open at the moment. Is this a decent seat, or should I switch out to another one?

14A has a slightly misaligned window (window nearest to your seat). see video of this seat here (

Not a deal breaker, but if I had a choice, I would move back a little to 16/17/18A

Hi guys, I'm also hoping to get some color on which J window seats are preferable on the A350-1000 (is it called 35K or 351??), I'm likely to be getting to try it on my flight to YYZ with my partner later in the year, thanks!

i am partial to 23A and K as being in the last row of a very big J cabin, you only have the wall behind you which makes it more private.

Errr, is this accurate? I just booked a return flight out of EWR that flies the A350-900. One of the flights is wide open, I'm currently in 16K, rationale being no one's going to be walking past me to head to the lav (17-19 will go to the rear lavs in J, 12-15 will go forward ). According to seatguru, there's not an issue with windows on this flight but according to this post from a little while ago, seems like it may be missing a window (assuming it mirrors the A side of the cabin)? Can anyone who's flown in this seat recently confirm? Thanks in advance!

I thought Row 21 was the last row in J on the A350? My wife and I are flying in J, CX858 HKG>SEA in October, right now we have 14K and 15K, but it's pretty much wide open in J right now, is it worth changing our seats?

21 is the last row on the A350-900, 23 is the last row on the A350-1000. CX flies the 359 to SEA. Instead of being in two different rows, why not choose a center pair if the cabin is wide open? Unless looking out the window on departure/arrival is important.

We tried the center seats before, and just prefer the window seats, as they feel more private to us. I usually sleep on the long hauls and she enjoys watching movies the entire flight, so not much conversation going on.

I'm taking the A350-900 to BKK this weekend and will try to take a look for you
The plane should be a mirror image so if 16A has 1 window, 16K should be the same...
Sadly the cabin is so full that my seat will only have 1 window =(

You probably wont have window shade battles but what happens is that part of the window is obscured by the shell of the seat

Here's 16K and 20A. Row 20 is clearly worse imo. Feeling the claustrophobia set in now....

But at least you won't have window shade battles in 20A I guess!
