Thanks, percysmith.
Would they then be able to refund me the difference between redeeming those one-way tickets vs redeeming a round trip ticket?

Got it, thanks again, percysmith.
So with these changes I want to make, am I correct as the following fees will apply?
1) cancelling MNL-MAD-MNL economy ($120)
2) issuing MNL - CDG pe (48,000 AM)
3) issuing MAD - MNL pe (48,000 AM)
...unless, as you've said, there are new MNL - CDG MAD - MNL slots that will open. (Any chance I can bother you to check how likely this would be? This is for Apr 12 MNL CDG (CX902 and 261) and April 30 MAD MNL (CX 320 and 901) )
If I choose to keep my economy MAD - MNL, cancel the MNL - MAD, and issue the MNL - CDG pe, what fees will I be facing? $120 cancellation fee + additional 12000 AM? Or what would be the most practical thing to do if I really want to keep the MNLCDG and MADMNL itinerary in your opinion?

i was looking to book HKG to YYZ Sunday april 30th one way using Avios. The seats would appear, then disappear, then appear again, then disappear. I currently dont see it on avios but i see it available on AM without any waitlist. I thought AM and BA showed the same rewards flights? have things changed? I noticed they opened up a ton of rewards flights recently. How often do they do this?

28k Miles + $120 I would've thought cos 48+40-60
Every flight has W9 so it's up to you whether to risk it or not

No. Unless you're Diamond, calling more will absolutely not affect your chances. These will be more effective https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/cath...l#post24842928

Waitlisting for
1/4 CX566, CX594, CX568, CX502
9/4 CX507, CX569
for a long long while.
Could anyone do a favour for me to check the status?
Do CX release the tickets in a systematic way or just by random?
