My reservation is a first class ticket so it's really a shame that KA does not have a first class for this route.
Doesn't look like F is offered on that route. You'll have the standard regional business class offering. Which is a step up from say US domestic first class.

USA First Class domestic.... I wouldn't even call them Premium Economy, more like Economy Plus, nothing premium about these jokers. No wonder nobody wants to pay for them....

It's all relative I guess

And some do pay for it if they can't get it guaranteed for free... as is often the case of some of the peak flights. It's not a bad product compared to the seating on European domestic premium. Service is good. Alcohol is free. What more is there for a flight of a couple hours?

haha.
i always fly economy when I fly within US because nothing is really worth paying for except maybe LA to NYC (too long for economy)

but do you think they may have upgraded the cabin since I've been there?
last time i tried it, my seat hardly reclined and it was more similar to economy than first class.

i just wish more airlines resembled Korean Air, which has a rather visually harmonious (pretty), energetic (young) staff.
even some of the other asian airlines like JAL and CX seem to not do this.

Looks like the KA951 is being operated by an a330, so that will be wide 2-2-2 seating. They're fairly comfortable. Im not entirely sure if all the a330s have now been converted to the new regional business class... but the old ones were comfortable anyway.

The a320 is pretty bad. Limited recline... just two rows in a tiny cabin. But seat width is still there... only 2-2 instead of 3-3. (And economy/coach on the a320s is particularly bad!!)

Yeah, they've generally "updated" the seating pitch from 42" to 38".

38" is the pitch of CX's economy plus.

Dragonair says seat pitch has been increased from 45' to 47' (42' to 45' on narrow body aircraft): http://www.dragonair.com/ka/en_PH/ab...velopment.html

Premium economy is a separate product on CX, at 38'.
