New website prototype
Just got another survey on new website. CX is once again working on prototyping a new website UI. Below are some of the screenshots of the prototype. It definitely looks more modern than the current one but still needs some more fine tuning to improve usability.

Was the survey strictly about design/UI, or did they also ask what browser and platform users prefers?

I don't think their current design is the problem, the key problem is still that some underlying functionality is still not functional.
Probably more important for them to resolve the functionality before they overhaul the design again..

Last time was about functionalities and this time is strictly on the UI of the new functionalities mentioned in the first survey. Have not asked anything on browser/platform all at in the past 2 surveys. They probably can gather those info through the browser you used to access their site.

Not sure if I like the dreamy narrative about the package. "Imagine it now....blah blah" And then commenting on the time of year? If you are travelling in Winter to London ... "Being January, it's going to be f..king freezing, and you'll be regretting booking your honeymoon to this god forsaken wintry location. And we haven't even mentioned how Heathrow will be if you get some winter wonderland show."

Whether it's new UI or old UI the most important thing is ease of use. The current UI simply stinks in that department. People go online not to look at cool images or cool functionalities. For an airline website they want ease of attaining information, reserve flight, and manage their reservations.

The agency CX are using one of the best at getting the user experience right and will have learnt from doing a number of other airline sites they have done.....

They actually put it on focus group, that's call CX insight, an invitation only focus group with a lame (350 Asiamiles per Quarter) bounty but actually fly them (and use their service)

I think aa.com is probably one of the better airline websites (wish I could be as complementary about the inflight experience!). Info is front and centre, prominent, clean, and easy to read and use.
