Hi guys - I just got the Citi Prestige card.
Now that I have that (and pay HKD2500 each year for the 30000 miles) - is there any point still to maintaining the DBS Black AE card? The earn rate is the same obviously. I know the DB card is free but no point keeping a card just for the sake of it?

1. Page One free magazine of value <=$15
2. AE is useful at times such as a. avoiding DCC and b. (weird) making online payments in Thailand (many Thai online payment portals require use of SecureCode, Citi Prestige doesn't have that).
3. Enjoying Amex Select promos e.g. 10% off of Siam Kempinski lunch a fortnight ago

Thanks PS, I'm not sure those are good enough reasons to keep the DBS card! Will consider.

If I cancel my credit card which I got my Priority Pass from, can I still use the PP card until the expiry date? Or they will charge me every time I use it after canceling the linked credit card?

Re: HSBC winter promo
I know the answer to this might be obvious, but I don't want to mess it up:
For HSBC Winter Promo, does spending at restaurants over 500 HKD also qualify (thus count to weekly cap and spending requirement)?
Also, if it does, I still get the 5x extra reward cash (which I set on dining) on top, correct?

But you max out at $1,000/week (60RC).

I know this is not completely Asiamiles related... But has anyone redeemed Avios with their Prestige Card before? I was learning about the whole AM vs. Avios for short haul, and then decided to check out Citi's rewards page. The redemption option for Avios came up under the Prestige Card, but when I click the description it only says Citi PM and Ultima, no Prestige mentioned?

I searched online and saw that conversion was possible with the PM, but was hoping someone can confirm the Prestige!
My friends have been telling me how great spending 15k AM for Taipei is, and boy am I glad I did a bit of research...
