Grateful if someone could post availability for LHR-LAS on 5 March. Am hoping WT+ to CW MFU availability appears before T-72.

I'd be equally grateful if somebody could do the same for LAS-LHR on 11 March!

Thanks,

AG

(PS, CtP - I still look out for you every time I check on ba.com)

Yep, me too. It does pay to look daily becuase it changes quite a bit. For a while there was no MFU availability the week of your return flight. But it's picked up a bit in the past few days. Fingers crossed for both of us and I'll PM you as soon as I see availability for you.

This is what the ExpertFlyer Flight Alerts service is for. You can set an alert for a specific quantity of a specific fare class for your flight and if the class reaches that amount you get an email from our system.

Thanks. I didn't think Expert Flyer provided that kind of service for BA.

Thanks KVS.

Looks a bit more promising for you CtP than for me. I wonder why it's much busier 6 days later, perhaps it's a Thursday thing!

As for the EF tool, BA isn't listed as one of the 'selected airlines' for what you say, KVS.

Is this right?

Your understanding is correct.

Yes, BA awards/upgrades are available via the KVS Tool only -- please see http://Help.KVSTool.com/#Classes

That's actually incorrect. With regard to the regular fare classes shown in post 214 and 215, ExpertFlyer shows those as well, and dos so for all airlines that publish in the reservation systems (hundreds). The "select airlines" list andygeog refers to is only for the airlines we support Award & Upgrade searches for. (This difference is noted on our home page at http://www.ExpertFlyer.com ) The only thing we don't have for BA is award inventory which it doesn't look like was being requested in this case.

The ExpertFlyer Flight Alerts service (where we keep checking availability for you) works for any regular fare class as well as any upgrade/award classes that we have access to. In BA's case, that is any of the regular fare classes that you may be keeping an eye on. KVS doesn't have any similar automatic service at all.

Actually, BA upgrade ("MFU") availability was exactly what both OPs (CatchThePigeon & andygeog) were looking for:

However, you posted the regular fare classes in response to their queries, not the BA upgrade classes. The regular classes are of course provided by both ExpertFlyer and KVS.

That's what the OPs had requested -- they have already been periodically checking award/upgrade availability via BA.com, and were looking for a current snapshot of regular availability (to estimate the chances of upgrade availability opening-up on their respective flights).
