You have to be logged I think in and check under "Flights" - "Seat Availability".
Thanks HIDDY, first time I have been on Flightstats, clearly not a member.

Is it worth signing up?

You used to have to be logged in to see fare class availability, but you haven't had to for a long time.

From a Scotsman to a Yorkshireman, it has to be good value.

So now I have a stupid question, when looking at availability, how do I know if there is likely reward availability in CW to UuA from WT+? I know there is a code for redemptions, am i going to get a roasting for not looking in the stickies first.

BA don't publish redemption availailability on GDSs. The only way to check for availability is via BA's website, looking for straight availability in CW for the flights you want. Alternatively, use something that scrapes BA such as KVS or other award availabilty web sites.

Where's the ashamed smiley. I should have known this, I have been hanging round here enough.

Although to shame myself more (I have managed to bag WT+ rtn for my next business trip) does that mean if there is availability in CW I can UuA my WT+ seat? Or do I look for Avios redemptions on BA.com and if there is one available I can UuA to it.

*hangs head and trudges off*

BA Upgrade Availability is the same as Award Availability:
