They are probably trying to get word on whether they can attempt a fob off due to the tech issue being a report of FOD ingestion into engine 2 on the taxi out of LHR which caused the return to stand. Such things are indeed inherent in aviation, but I guess they are trying to work out if they think you are clever enough to challenge them and go to CEDR.

2158 is all reactionary delay. The outbound BA2159 on the LGW-UVF had quite the carcophany of events which delayed it when the late running of the inbound aircraft meant it should only have been around 17 minutes late out of LGW. It involved an O2 cylinder falling and hitting a passenger on the head and them subsequently being taken to hospital I believe as they were offloaded (hope they are ok) and a tech issue on top of that too.

Airborn return to FCO due to a cargo door unsafe indication, all confirmed to be sound and then off they went successfully.

Hello. On behalf of a chum, would it be possible to confirm the on stand time for BA662 to Larnaca on Feb 15 please? Although the delay was due to technical issues resulting in a delay of 2 hours 40, I doubt it took 20 mins to taxi and attach the airbridge but just wanted to double check.

Many thanks in advance.

Seemed as though the BA239 LHR-BOS on 28-APR was cancelled, and subsequently also the BA238 daytime BOS-LHR today (29-Apr).
There was an aircraft assigned (G-VIIG), so not sure what happened?

BA239 was a TECY due to a cargo door issue.

Looks like it arrived on stand at 19:08 UTC.

A little late in the day, but no cancellations today. 336 BA departures out of LHR's 666 departures. Good timekeeping and a fairly light regulation until around 17:40 hrs.

Broadly aligns as I was on the delayed return which was re-routed to LGW given the LHR night restrictions. We started our take-off roll at 20:14 UTC according to my WhatsApp history - so a fairly normal turnaround time for an A321.

Just the one out today

BA213 BOS

So 334 BA departures out of LHR's 672. Good timekeeping so far, easterly wind direction. ATC report has light regulation in there, but I doubt it will stay on for much longer.

Landing RWY: 09L
Airborne holding (mins): 8 peak
Departure RWY: 09R
TSAT delay average (mins): 0

Heathrow: EGLLTC regulation 42/60 0540-1400z due moderate 3000ft winds.
Network: EHAM and LPPT capacity regs generating low delays.

Weather: Easterlies all day. 3000ft winds easing during the afternoon.

BA213 BOS - TECY - both LEH and LEJ are out of action.
