At the front of the plane? I’m row 8, somehow got it solo despite the flight being allegedly full.

Drinks refreshing was not forthcoming. Concerned about the return!

Frittata was on offer today but I stuck with the ham plate. Only 3 (!) Champagne loaded so I had to move on to the gin quicker than usual.
Odd you should mention that as the service on the return leg yesterday was much slower with a number of items on the menu either not there or loaded in such a small quantity that they ran out after the first few CE rows. Seems there has been an issue with supply levels according to the charming FA I spoke to and has been raised several times with their catering department

Delay in, delay out: we took off 90 mins later than scheduled but at least there was time for a fresh OJ & chat to some (sadly not all) other TP runners 😁

Crew happy to see us again, and I was happy to see the sick blanket had gone 😅 hope the chap is feeling better now

This time 2 drinks trolleys first, 1 from the back of CE. Followed by meal service. IFL joined in this time 😅 I went for the lamb. Problem is: burnt food - dry as ****! My seat mate was extremely disappointed with the pasta, didn’t touch it.

Overall an ok flight, and as it’s December, here’s a photo of winter wonderland in London from the sky!

14 / 14 ✈️ DONE!

And that, folks, is the end of my story. A few points closer, a few KG heavier & a few friends richer (thank you 😊 ).

I’m a little sad tbh, as I enjoyed the experience; the me-time, being off the grid (work nor family could get a hold of me in the sky 😅 ), reading more John Grisham than ever before - and I really enjoyed meeting many of you on the SOF flights. If we met (or even didnt) drop me a DM, who knows, maybe our paths could cross again - unplanned or indeed planned! Speaking of planned, I hope to see you in a few weeks at the London Xmas Drinks.

TPRun over & out! 🛬 🙂

Yes, they only had a chicken salad left by the time they reached row 12 on the way back, which was still better than the LHR - Glasgow flight which had no catering at all "because of an unforeseen issue with our catering supplier"

Our flight was severely overloaded with our forumites - the Nicolas was attacked and destroyed in the first half hour it seems (and I was only personally responsible for the polishing off of a single bottle).

In seriousness, it was so lovely to meet you and a couple of the others - but you were actually the first ever FTer I met. If everyone is as nice, I really look forward to meeting more people from this lovely community!

Ah... I ended up with the linguini which tasted very much like strips of pasta in Heinz mushroom soup

Well I might be traveling solo according to the thread but we’ve still got 12 rows of CE today and a pretty full flight. One of these days I’ll have to actually go and explore Sofia! But not today.

A10 departure

late inbound

Half the plane apparently priority boarding

it has to get better right?

Will be in CCR from about 7am on 7th if anyone else is there.

14 rows of CE outbound. I’m in 1A so stand a chance of getting a meal and a drink of my choosing😃

Will be waiting for you. Sadly in 10A, so may be a bit parched by the time they get to me!

Doing my first SOF B2B tomorrow, back in the nosebleeds 12A...

Is anyone else flying on 8/12? The Wiki's empty.
12 rows of CE, nearly every seat taken. Ordered vegetarian meal solely to avoid the interminable wait that seems to be standard 'down the back'.

Has anyone booked a rental car anytime between 8/12-15/12 that they're not planning to collect?

Might not be relevant to B2Bs, but on the advice of someone up thread, we just had an amazing meal at Cosmos. The 6 course tasting menu with drinks pairing worked out to about £75 per person including tips. Great value for money and brilliant food.
