Need 130 more TP after 2 B2Bs LHR-SOF, can I face a 3rd one? Is there a particular day I can do a non-nested B2B or should I just pick somewhere else?

Fun trip today! IFL was a very loud South African lady but she made it fun & she was nicely training 2 new young recruits (1 on her first day!) Had a bit of a laugh with 2 guys who were doing a B2B.

Coincidence of the day: I recognised the muscly FO when he popped out in-flight, spoke to him; turns out he and I go to the same gym, often at same time, (he & I live in same town). I’ve got a new gym buddy! Small world…!

Overall a fun crew who took a genuine interest in why we do these runs. Efficient meal service. I tried the lamb. The old chicken was better.



IFL kept us drinking, doing great booze runs all the time (reminder: this was only 7 rows, they had 12 on way out so this was easy!) no club kitchen which was annoying, given the drinks consumption 😅 im going to need a detox after these runs..!

✈️ 12 down, 2 to go (b2b on Thursday this week - by the looks of the wiki above I’m on my own!)

SOF B2B is probably all my blood pressure can handle - on and off again! :-)
Full Disclosure: FO did not wait for me and left LHR without me! That'll be coming up in our first gym session together tomorrow!

Reading this thread has inspired me to join and I especially like the reports on how easy it is to do these back to backs - I'm looking at doing LHR-SOF-LHR-MAN on the 30th just as soon as I can.

I realise it has been said previous in here and in the TP run thread but can somebody clarify what happens when you get to SOF? DO you simply mill around the gate you arrive in and get back onboard?

Thanks - I just wondered given the tight turn around time at SOF. I'm still new to flying so all this is strange to me and wasn't sure if I had to pass through any security or not... Might have a look at the lounge at Sofia as I doubt I'll have much time enjoy it in under an hour's time there and save it for another time

its fine for a 15 minute stop, the highlight is an OJ machine that squeezes fresh juice for you.

No security, thats why it is perfect for b2b. you literally come out next to the departure gate

No, I'm exaggerating... even 5 mins is too long it's fine really, but the food sucks, the drink is average...but the electricity works so it's comfortable to catch up on emails and charge any devices if you're on a plane without charging capabilities.

I've added you in. Lots of people on the Wed, I'm gutted not to be on it for my final b2b
