Not sure what I have coming back as I was declined online check in - is that normal for SOF-LHR?

Only if you haven't provided API, or if you are travelling onwards to a place which requires extra checks (USA for example). First step is to check from a desktop and look for any errors / red messages in MMB. Otherwise get to LHR early and enquire there.

Simple B2B

Just worried having never done this before that I might have to go through security, get a boarding pass at their end and then try to fight my way through security... Can Heathrow issue a ticket at their end?

OLCI for the return is not normally a problem. Check back through the thread, check specifically around post #147 and the outcome of that similar issue. You might want to try checking in on a webpage if you have no joy with the app.

Failing that, try to get it sorted out at LHR before you depart - I imagine there will be some fun and games explaining it all to the agent. although you would think they might be getting used to it by now!

Thanks for the advice - cleared cookies and everything in an attempt to check in and I got nothing - it just comes up with
