We gave Speedbird cafe a first try and pre-ordered afternoon tea on our flight back to LHR yesterday. Being reasonably experienced BA fliers there was fun speculation at the gate on how good/bad this would be.

I can’t see Amazon looking to poach BA’s Director of Catering any time soon.

The refund has now hit my card, so overall a happy outcome! I'm minded to gamble on this again when I travel ET - worst case scenario it gets delivered as advertised, or ideally it doesn't get loaded, I get a compensatory G&T on board and a full refund afterwards.
