I was just saying to my husband what a great site this is for serious and often complex questions about fares, seating and queries that are often rather challenging.

Corporate is just brilliant. Helped me stop worrying about my BA flight to Rome that disappeared off the face of the earth

Then I see this thread.......

Didnt realise there was a thread about something bringing in a McDonald's into First. If I ever go First then I will be smartly dressed (but ready to change into PJ's at the appropriate time) lightly perfumed with Jo Malone fragrance and looking like I fly First all the time.

Then someone brings in a Macci D!

Of course the counter argument is that these days, being smartly dressed makes you look more of an F newbie tourist than if you were to bring a McDs with you... Now of course if you can get them to cook a steak properly for you, that's the mark of a truly seasoned traveler

(yes I know there's a thread on that too!)

Sadly these days most people in F turn up in velour trakkies and flip flops.

I didn’t realise you were on the same flight to SIN - you should have said Hello! 😁

I think there's a difference to be had between being comfortable and looking like you just rolled out of bed.

I do have a particular aversion to flip flops outside of beach areas. Not a fan of feet.

Folks,

It seems this thread is attracting a lot of attention, so let's resist the off-topic meanderings and keep the focus on the OPs thread topic. Whatever that is.

Surely me reading this at FL360, a popcorn maker is exactly what I need 😀

Surely wearing a tie in F now would run the risk of getting stained with hot dog condiments...
