Maybe not the best thread ever, but this one was just as bizzare.

How to get a pork hedgehog served on an Etihad First Class flight

And if the hedgehog isn't enough, the companion thread of fancy dress just adds to the pleasure.

This has got to be the most bizarre thread in a long time..

Next up: can I light a bonfire onboard to fry marshmallows? - it emits no noise

The funniest part about this thread to me is not that someone would bring a hot dog steamer on board but that they would attempt to pool the power from three other F seats to do so. Would they be promised hot dogs?

Have influencers finally found Flyertalk? This smells more of YouTube than it does of pork.

To the OP: this won’t work. Planes are really bad places for public displays of idiocy.

This is a hotdog on YouTube but for all the qualities of BigClive I don't think influencer is in his dictionary.

Unfortunately this method will also most likely fail due to the limitations on power, but it obviates the need to smuggle the hotdog machine on board. 🌭

Hint: don't try this at home kids, or at 30000 ft.

Curious to see the load balancing configuration never mind the adhoc cabling arrangement joining multiple supply cables into one outlet to supply the device.

I do recall once a doco about GWB when he was on the campaign trail. I do recall the press pack managing to plug in and use a blender to make daiquiris mid flight.

Going to also be difficult to get a sufficient quantity of condiements through security as I would guess that it won't just be hot dogs for one.

On a serious note though how little consideration of fellow passengers to even contemplate this.

I think the popcorn machine would be useful for this thread ...

Are the sockets where the cleaners plug in their onboard vacuum cleaners ‘live’ in-flight?

Not sure what sort of plug/socket arrangement it is nor voltage/amperage etc, but if live they may provide 'interesting possibilities' for the OP.

If the cleaners also left the vacuum cleaner on board, the op could also clean up after his hot dog cookery demonstration!
