Frankly if it is half a patch on the superb Flagship Lounge in Miami, you will have no complaints from me. It’s so Ritzy.

So no CCR, possible remote stands, probably disruption until it's done. I don't really see the BA customer benefit.
I do wonder if minimum connection time will be reduced, though, that could be useful...
But can't really judge until it's all done, eh? So sometime in 2023...

I am keeping my fingers crossed the new Premium Check-in will have its own fast track security lanes. The current Flagship Check-in arrangement while lovely deposits you at the end of the Priority security channel which in my experience is the slowest of all lanes at JFK T7. At the moment, if you want a quick security experience you need to purchase a TSA Pre✓ membership

There isn't an intention to use remote stands for boarding and the aircraft will be put back on gates for boarding.

It's a delightful lounge, and the only 'original' Concorde Room in the network from where Concorde departed until 2003.

BA also didn't need all 12 gates in T7 (and a fair share of them are AS and other users), and T8 was never at full capacity anyway, so adding 9 stands should suffice.

From memory, pre Covid I’ve seen BA 747s parked on remote stands at T7 at JFK but presumed it was just for overflow parking. I’ve never had a bus and steps story with BA at JFK.

There are plenty of small items where BA give Golds (OWE), which AA do not give, to their own EXP or OWE, such as extra baggage for everyone on the booking, 4 bags in First, free seat selection for friends on other bookings, arrivals lounge access on long haul economy. I don't expect (or get) the same benefits on AA tickets.
Edit: All I ask is that AA treats me according to their commitment as part of the Oneworld alliance. And from my experience, they do.

I like the AA seats more than the BA CW seats, even more than the CW suites, which I find myself hating due to limited foot space. And then there's the onboard temperatures that neither gets right. On a BA long-haul is like being in a sauna and on AA it's like being in a freezer.
But, you know, horses for courses and I'm glad we have a choice.

The flagship at jfk did offer the same as MIA.
I'm not pre check either, never had any need for my routes.
JFK you do , now did, I suppose, have to ask sometimes to be taken to the front . Not just the security guy at priority, , but straight to the scanner
Saved me quite a few connections.
There used to be a little, in height, AA lady (she's left now), if I'm allowed to say that, who was absolutely a delightful person, who even insisted helping with the trays for the scanner
